Normally a guy has specific skills and interest which amuses others. Each and every one attends various competitons to find these skills, sharp them up and compare with others on how to improve them. Institutions also help in such activities and honour those who outsmart the rest in various skills.
In auctual sense the best outgoing student means the one who has all the features of a student such as hunger to learn, willingness to share, team spirit, quench to achieve something in life that is ambition which will help the society.
But thats not what it is happening today. Most students are making their ambition as to get BOS, for which they loose their ethical values, try to please others who are powerful, do all mean things. It is very annoying to see students trying to act as if they have the skill or interest in which they don't even have basic knowledge.If it continues like this in future too, we will have BOS guyz who are not good actors and also students for the society.
It is high time for the society and institution to recognise the original students with ethical values and award them the BOS to encourage them and for betterment of society.

BOS -it is a term that has different meanings at different contexts.The context that Sabai mentions is the palce where BOS is judged by Staffs who rate students, who frequent them the most.

very sensible one...politics everywhere...present scenario is like that...previously people worked n they were crowned...but now some aim for BOS n work...when BOS is judged by both students and staff trend may change n real BOS wil be brought to limelight[:)]...but there were times when real BOS were identified...agreed?
ReplyDeleteHi . i read ur Blog on BOS . good . But i think you got something in the wrong sense. you said people are trying to do some jobs in which they dont even have any basic knowledge. I think college is for learning not for showcasing ur talents . if they are able to learn new things and was able excel you in tht field means , they are the true BOS. Also you said people are just aiming for BOS. Whats wrong in it? Working towards a goal is very important. For a student to be rewared as the BOS is Dream for not only tht student but also for their parents. And if they are able to achieve it means, they truely deserve the Honor as BOS.
